Suggestions for a 45 day trip around the world?

I’m planning on going on a vacation with my best friend next summer. We will be going for atleast a month and want to see as much as we can! We are from US and have already visited every state and all every city/monument/national park we are interested in so, we want to travel all over seas and visit as many fascinating places and countries as possible. Obviously we know we can’t see EVERYTHING, but we want to hit the high points and see as much as we can without rushing any place. I know there are deals out there that are somewhat ‘guided’ and I’m just looking for suggestions on what you guys have done and found to work out well. Thanks!
