Zion National Park / Bryce Canyon. which is better ?

We are visiting Las Vegas next week and are planning to drive north east into Utah. We haven’t seen Bryce canyon nor Zion National Park. Since we are not planning on staying overnight in Utah, we want to see either one of the two. We have visited Grand Canyon & Monument Valley before and leaning towards Bryce Canyon. Is Zion spectacular enough to skip Bryce Canyon ? All your input is greatly appreciated.
